We’re seeking a passionate Backend Software Engineer to play a vital role in building and enhancing a cloud-based business platform. In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with design and client-facing teams to create market-leading solutions. You’ll be involved in the entire product lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and performant software.

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality, fully performant software following coding standards and technical designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize innovative cloud-based solutions.
• Execute full product lifecycle development, from inception to deployment and maintenance.
• Assess operational feasibility and specify solution options.
• Write well-designed, efficient, and fully testable code.
• Work closely with Quality Engineering and Assurance teams to establish a test-driven development practice.

• 5+ years of experience in web application and API development.
• Excellent PHP API development skills, preferably with Laravel.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Proven understanding of user experience concepts and their application to complex problems.
• A portfolio of container-orchestrated web applications.

• Experience with React JS for web front-end development.
• Familiarity with cloud-hosted application solutions, ideally on AWS.
• Interest and experience in architecting serverless and/or containerized ap
