Job Description:
● Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
● Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test scenarios.
● Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing of software applications.
● Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking systems.
● Work closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.
● Create and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
● Perform root cause analysis of defects and recommend corrective actions.
● Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on software design and implementation from a quality perspective.
● Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
● Communicate test results and quality metrics to stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and product owners and wireframes.
● Responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through the development and execution of test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
● Work closely with our development team to identify and address defects, verify new features, and maintain product quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Skills:
● 5 years experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer or in a similar role.
● Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
● Proven working experience in testing REST, GraphQL APIs
● Experienced in e-commerce and Order Management systems with complex integration scenarios
● Experience writing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
● Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
● Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
● Strong e-commerce experience and understanding of the customer journey.
