We are seeking a Junior Data Engineer / Mid Python Developer to join our client's dynamic data team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting data engineering efforts, maintaining data pipelines, and contributing to AI-driven solutions. This role is best suited for individuals with strong Python programming skills and a passion for data engineering.

• Dashboard Development: Create and maintain data dashboards using Microsoft products such as Fabric and Power BI.
• Data Warehouse Support: Assist in maintaining and enhancing the Microsoft Fabric data warehouse utilizing the medallion architecture.
• Data Pipeline Assistance: Support the development and monitoring of data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.
• Data Quality: Contribute to data validation efforts to ensure accuracy and reliability in data processing.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for data processes, pipelines, and models.
• Reporting: Generate regular reports and assist with ad-hoc data requests from business teams.
• Basic AI Implementation: Support senior team members with integrating AI capabilities into existing systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Python developer.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure data services.
• Understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehouse concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or other modern data warehouse technologies.
• Familiarity with the medallion architecture (bronze, silver, gold layers).
• Basic understanding of API integration and data extraction methods.
• Awareness of AI and machine learning concepts, particularly LLMs.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Exposure to version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of agile development methodologies.
