The majority of developers right now are looking for job security. Every time we headhunt developers, we always ask them what motivates them to move on to a new role or a new job, and they always say the same thing: job security.
This is because most of them are working freelance, directly with companies or clients based in the UK, Australia, or the US. Obviously, those companies don’t have a registered business here in the Philippines. Therefore, developers are just getting paid directly, without benefits.
Whereas with Cloud Employee, we cover all the government-mandated benefits such as PhilHealth, SSS (a pension scheme), and Pag-IBIG for home loans.
