You have these founder forums, like EO. I’ve recently joined Hampton, where you meet with eight other founders once a month and talk about your challenges, your wins, and everything in between.
And I thought - what if we could do that for engineers all working at different companies? How cool would that be? So we piloted it with one group, and it’s been one of the coolest things I’ve seen.
They’re from places like Virgin or early-stage startups, all kinds of businesses. They come together in a safe space where they can say, “This is my challenge this month, this is my win.” Now this group meets monthly. They’d never met before, but they’ve described it as life-changing - a safe place to bring ideas and help each other innovate.
It’s very different from just being part of a team with a line manager. This is peers supporting each other, and that feels special.
