Cloud Employee has actually chosen the Philippines for a number of reasons, and one of them is English proficiency. From a young age, English is taught in schools. I live here, and honestly, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t speak really great English. That’s a huge advantage.

Secondly, the time zone. The Philippines is in a great position for the UK, but also for Australia and the US as well. Our developers can work across multiple time zones, and all of our devs adjust to match the time zones of our clients.

And thirdly, the Philippines is estimated to produce about 150,000 to 180,000 tech graduates each year. On that scale, it’s a massive number of highly skilled people entering the workforce annually.
